Image compositing

What Image compositing is combining elements together into a single image, one of its many uses is to make illusions, combining elements into one imagery. What rule of thirds are is when a subject is aligned with the guiding lines and the intersecting points, it's used when the subject is not in the center. The rule of thirds can be incorrectly used if the image doesn't need to use the rule of thirds and use it in the wrong way. I think what photographer's thoughts when taking a picture is what the subject is all about and what is required subject in the photo, and that it also may take time to get the right moment. I believe that photos don't need to be edited because the original photo is a great photo itself and editing the photo may affect the photo a lot and it may change the person's message of the photo.

The strongest message to communicate with my audience is mostly my first image concept, which is a backpack opened and a flower, the plan for this picture is to enlarge the flower and place the flower in the opened bag. The message is "knowledge can be beautiful" which it could be anything, school, sports, science, etc. . . the angles for the photos are mostly flat angle and a bit of a high angle. I want to make the audiences' first look is the enlarge flower because it's unusual.

Visual Statement

So our project was on Adrenaline and how it feels when adrenaline hits, It's important to me and my partners to get this message because adrenaline allows people to go beyond their potential. The requirements for this project is to have the idea for the project, after that we have to make a script on what the narrator is going to say. When that is finish we first write the visuals, then if all of us agree with the visuals we film. All of us have a requirements for the project, Nikki is the lead writer, Lester and I are the lead visuals, but we all try to help each other in any way.

So what I have learned in final cut pro is the blade tool, it's one of the most important tools when it comes to editing, lets say we make a mistake in a film, we can use the blade tool and use it for the mistakes that we filmed. It could be useful for our project by many things, audio, visuals, cuts, transitions, close shots, distant shots, and many more. It's really important to organize the libraries, events, and projects is because it makes it easier to find clips and you don't need to get confused with others projects. Audio levels are important for projects and films, it can affect the film if the audio level is not right in that certain clip.

By far the most difficult challenge during this project is communication toward others, although two people were communicating properly, one person was setting us back which cause a lot of problems with each other, it was slow and took a lot of process to get it together. The person who was the driving force in our group was Lester, I felt like that I didn't want to continue with the project due to the lack of communication with the others, and that anchor was sinking us, but lester was the one who motivated me to continue, he tried for all of us to communicate properly with each other. I would say the most enjoyable thing during the project is just communicate with the group, the struggles with the team and the solution of the team makes things enjoyable, but at the same time a bit annoying.

Modern Art Movement

The Digital Art culture and how it got to rise today is the start of the computers, in the 1960's, many artist were experimenting. Since the 1970's they're various names are used in the process, including computer arts and multimedia art. In 1985, Andy Warhol created the Digital art using the Commodore Amiga in . The Digital technology has impacted many activities like painting, drawing, sculpture, and music. Digital artist is more like an artist that uses digital technologies. I feel like Digital Art is moving with modern technology, it makes things a lot easier for artist to explore the art world.
Andy Warhol, Marilyn Monroe, 1962

In my opinion I feel like Andy Warhol wanted to make a statement in 1985, that art can also be in a digital form. I believe that a single artist can influence many others based on what art they did and know what it means. Banksy for example, he did street art and it inspire other artist to start street art, his art has a dark humour. In my opinion Digital art is the easiest because it could be in use in any digital technology, art is much easier these day now.

Workplace Safety

The goal for the project that we did was to describe what MSDS is and how to use hazard items properly and how to fix a problem with an accident waiting to happen. My teammates are Makaiao and Sharon all of the members of the team did different assignments, what I did was to research the MSDS, the colors represents on what hazards and how dangerous they are, Makaiao did was write the visual plans and some parts of the script, Sharon did most of the script and also helped me with the research. Makaiao should get the credit because he gave us the visuals when we needed it, and he gave us many ideas.

What I learned in this project is that MSDS has different types of hazards and how dangerous they, and that communication is important to the team and that it allows to go smoothly. the highest score in the critique is the "relevance of visuals" and the lowest is "clarity of audio" and "entertainment value". The project could've been a improve the production value is the visuals and the editing, although it was turned in, it was completely rushed and it was not completely sync with the visuals.

Art & Design

The elements that I used for the Still life painting is lines, and texture . I used the line drawing to the outline of the image that I chose, which shows the image. And another elements of art that I chose is texture which shows how smooth or rough the surface is. If the brush is size is smaller, it allow the artist to have more control than a larger brush. The thing that I enjoyed the most is outlining the image, since it's the easiest and it mostly reveals the drawing, but the most challenging is the texture, due to choosing which texture in certain areas.

The landscape that I found was in a website called www.Pexels.com. They're are similarities and differences between my Still life and Landscape image, They both use texture, line, and space, but the still life has shape and the Landscape has value to the image. I believe that i did the basics with the Landscape, but with some advance filters. The basics was to change the colors to black and white, but the more advance techniques was to invert the colors, color dodging the image, and changing the filter to look more of a pencil drawing landscape. The technique that I ended up was pretty good, but needs some improvement.

This image was taken from a website called stockvault.net, The person in the image was some type of business man holding his glasses in front of the camera, the photo to me means to be a serious person but yet having some fun with myself. The mix uses most or all of the elements to the image, line, shape, value, and texture, all together. According to the critique the most expert votes was on the Mix image, and the most professionals votes was the still life image. I agree with some of these votes due because I could improve the image in all.

Audio Production

Intonation is the rise and the fall of the voice in speaking and  Inflection is the change of form of words, these two key words could be the factor for maintaining the interest of the audience. I was the vocal talent, but play as a director for a set, the requirement for me is to act as the director and to give a tour to a journalist. It is critical to rehears the script because it allows your team to improve on their problems and allows them to feel comfortable with the team and their script.

From the critique on what we rehears, "Relevance of Answers" had the most results. Our team got the audiences' attention while sending a specific message towards the audience. The obstacles we had to overcome is the script and the inflection. To overcome our obstacles is to retake the rehearsal and making sure that the team is on task.
